James and Jenny Dye

James and Jenny have called Charlotte home for nearly 30 years. They discovered SVP after attending SEED20 OnStage and were inspired by the pitches, leading them to join SVP immediately. They have both actively participated in several SPARK teams and they enjoy engaging with the diverse and innovative non-profits across Charlotte.

James, an Air Force veteran and commercial airline pilot, has a long history of leadership, including many years as a Boy Scout leader. He has worked with two SEED20 alumni, serving as a mentor with GenOne for the past four years, and is currently on the board of Assist M.E.

Jenny brings her experience as a CPA to the SVP Finance Committee and is currently the Board Chair for ZABS Place, another Seed20 alum. She has also coached SEED20 and volunteered with several other non-profits outside of SVP.

Jenny and James have two adult children and they cherish spending as much time with them as possible. They stay active by traveling, playing tennis and pickleball, and walking.
