Anne and Mike joined SVP as partners at the end of 2019, just before the onset of the pandemic. Anne had previously attended several SEED20 events, while Mike became immediately involved as a SEED20 coach. Both have actively contributed to SVP’s mission through their work on the Investment Committee. Anne has also served as a mentor in the Families Forward program and played a key role in SVP event planning. Mike has contributed to the marketing group and served as a lead partner with two investees.
Longtime residents of Charlotte, Anne and Mike moved from Boston 30 years ago, after spending the previous three decades in New York City. Anne’s professional background includes fundraising roles with the Women’s Campaign Fund and the Jewish Community Center, followed by a 15-year career as a Pilates instructor. She continues to give back to the community through volunteer work at Second Harvest Food Bank and previously dedicated 10 years to Blessings in a Backpack.
Mike is semi-retired after a successful career as a medical technology entrepreneur. He continues to advise several early-stage medical technology companies and has served on the Executive Boards of the Jewish Community Center and Care Ring.
Together, Anne and Mike enjoy traveling, walking, playing pickleball, and exploring new restaurants. Most of all, they cherish time with their growing family—both of their children became parents recently, making them proud grandparents to Olive and Ella.
