SHARE Charlotte is a fantastic website devoted to educating the community about nonprofits and opportunities to get involved with them locally. Through sharecharlotte.com, “neighbors” are connected with causes and organizations they care about, ways to volunteer and serve them, and other Charlotteans who feel similarly! (Look for many of our SEED20 alumni on the site!) The website creates a broad network of people, organizations, and events to connect with in the nearby areas. Consequently, the nonprofits involved receive benefits like increased publicity and volunteering. Thanks to founder Kelly Brooks SHARE Charlotte has been up to a lot lately.

#GivingTuesdayCLT is Charlotte’s very own celebration of Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving. This year we expect a record number of nonprofits to participate and we plan to raise $2 million for the Charlotte community! We know it’s a big goal, but this is an amazing and generous city, and we’re confident the community can do it!
