SVP Charlotte is still Catching “Fire” Nineteen Years Later
We are thrilled to announce Social Venture Partners Charlotte was recently honored with the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2024 “Catalyst” Fire Award! We humbly accept this recognition as we were nominated alongside outstanding organizations like Apparo – Business and Tech Solutions for Nonprofits, Civility Localized, Dottie Rose Foundation, IKEA Foundation Charlotte, and Mecklenburg County. The annual Fire Awards program, presented by Charlotte Inno and Charlotte Business Journal, acknowledges the efforts of individuals, companies, and organizations dedicated to sustaining the local startup ecosystem.
Since 2005, SVP Charlotte has invested nearly $2 million into grassroots nonprofits and delivered skill-building programs for over 200 organizations. We are honored to be recognized as a catalyst for innovation in our community. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and generous support of our incredible SVP Partners. A special thank you goes out to Jennifer Davis-Martin, Mark Weber, and Erin Breeden for their thoughtful nominations. To read our in-depth interview with CBJ, click here.
