Why SVP? When we joined SVP over a decade ago, my wife, Jennifer, and I were looking for opportunities to engage the nonprofit community in our new hometown. SVP provided a truly unique opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse community of passionate social entrepreneurs. I was particularly attracted to the venture philanthropy model which unites SVP partners from all backgrounds with a focus on helping new and emerging nonprofits scale their impact on our community and beyond.
