Carol and Greg Brown bring a unique blend of corporate leadership, creative insight, and nonprofit strategy to SVP Charlotte. 

Carol is a business executive with deep experience in finance and technology, having served as Senior Vice President at American Airlines Credit Union, where she oversaw risk management, accounting, and IT for an organization with over $5 billion in assets. She also brings a rich academic and curatorial background as an MBA-trained art historian, with experience at The Walters Art Museum and American University. 

Greg spent 25 years in the travel industry, holding senior roles in finance and marketing at American Airlines and two global hotel companies. He now advises a range of organizations—from Fortune 500 firms to nonprofits—on business and marketing strategy. Greg earned an MBA from University of Texas, and has an engineering degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. 

Carol and Greg are proud parents of two sons, both now working in the corporate sector. They live on a lake in the Uwharrie Mountains, about an hour from Charlotte, and are passionate about strengthening the nonprofit sector and building a more vibrant Charlotte community.
