Kerrin Kinnear became an SVP Partner in August of 2023. Shemoved to Charlotte with her fiancé, Josh, after finishing up her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Virginia last May (Wahoowa!). She is currently an Account Executive at Microsoft, where she supports her customers on their digital transformation journeys.
Community work has always been important to Kerrin, but it was during her MBA that she became passionate about supporting nascent nonprofits and social enterprises. As a Second Year, she sat on the board of New Hill Development, a young nonprofit tackling economic mobility in Charlottesville. It was life-changing for her to see the immense impact a small, budding organization could have on a community. The experience showed her the power of partnership and inspired her to look for ways to support young local orgs doing good in Charlotte.
Over the years, Kerrin has volunteered across a number of causes including adult literacy, professional development, the environment, domestic violence, and economic mobility.
Outside of work and volunteering, she loves going for long hikes, rock climbing, curling up with a good book, cooking, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
Kerrin is grateful for the opportunity to join SVP as a Partner, where she hopes to connect with likeminded community members and to leverage her business background to help nonprofits achieve their goals
