Cooper and Lily moved to Charlotte from New York City in 2018. They joined SVP after learning that Charlotte ranked last out of 50 major cities for upward mobility and were looking for ways to support local nonprofits helping disadvantaged students and working professionals in theregion. Cooper’s background is in general management and consulting, and Lily’s is in advertising and sales.
Cooper is Vice President at Apex Tool Group, a $1B+ manufacturer of hand tools and power tools, where he leads the company’s global eCommerce business. Lily is Senior Director at Aki Technologies, overseeing digital advertising sales for brands in the Southeast US. Cooper attended Harvard University and Lily attended Davidson College, where she was captain of the women’s lacrosse team.
Outside of work, Cooper is an avid runner while Lily is into rowing and long walks with their dog Charlie. Since moving to Charlotte, they’ve enjoyed exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, visiting Carolina beaches, and supporting local restaurants and businesses. They both joined SVP Charlotte as Partners in December of 2022.
