While not originally from Charlotte, Sarah (Knoxville, TN) and Patrick (ChapelHill, NC) met in Charlotte and have been Queen City residents for more than 20 years. Patrick has more than 15 years of Financial Services experience in business and digital product strategy and has a passion for volunteering in roles that directly support youth development (Reading Buddies, Hands on Banking, Junior Achievement, and BSA Exploring). Sarah is a Managing Director in Slalom Consulting’s Charlotte office. They have one son, Bryson (age 14), who is a 8th grader at Charlotte Latin School.
According to Patrick, “We were drawn to SVP’s mission (support for local non-profits who are attacking social and economic inequality) and really like how SVP provides opportunities for its partners and other volunteers to work alongside these non-profits. There is a sense of passion and joy amongst the non-profits, broader SVP leadership team and partners that is energizing, and the opportunity to work alongside such a talented and committed group was very compelling.” They have both been members of SVP Charlotte since January of 2023.
The Wildes love to stay active and enjoy playing tennis, swimming, hiking, snow skiing, and brisk dog walks with their three year old Havashire. They are also avid college sports fans of their hometown teams and alma maters (Wake Forest and University of Virginia).
