On May 23rd, over 50 Partners gathered at the Mint Museum on Randolph for the Spring Partner meeting. Darren Ash, Executive Director of The ROC, shared his experience with trauma informed counseling. This practice recognizes and emphasizes understanding how the traumatic experience impacts children and adults, and their mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Darren also shared his experience with providing access to secondary education opportunities, other than the four year college track, through The ROC.
SVP will continue the Secondary Education discussion on September 12th with a panel sponsored by the E3 Committee.
