Whether you have been with SVP for 10 years (yay!) or 10 days (woohoo!), we want to make sure you know how to get ‘plugged in’ with whatever it is you are most passionate about. We call them ‘Pathways to Engagement’ around here. You can call them whatever you would like, but any of these will get you headed in the right direction to venture philanthropy!
Come to the Quarterly Partner meetings: These are a great way to meet other Partners you may not otherwise know. There is always something important to talk/hear about. Oh, and lunch is always served!
Join an Issue Committee: Working to create change through research and education, these committees are passionate about their subject area and are ready to welcome you with open arms!
Join the Investment Team: Want to help select the next year’s nonprofit with whom we work?! This is for you!
Join SEED20 Steering Committee or be a Coach: Our signature program, SEED20, is a great place to plug in! Meet this year’s class and learn more about the program here!
Be a Lead Partner for an Investee (or work strategically with one): Help to bridge the connection between the nonprofit Investees with whom we invest and the Partnership. This is a great way to learn everything about an organization!
